A rich 19th-century still life depicting an assortment of grapes with leaves, raspberries and a curious snail.
It was painted in France during the late 19th-century but it reminds us of the masterful Dutch school still lifes of the 17th-century. It’s unsigned but clearly by a well-trained hand who was inspired by the Dutch golden age.
A very nice decorative piece.
