Nijhoff, Eliza Agnetus Emilius (1826-1903)

Dutch artist, Eliza Nijhoff was predominantly known for extensive landscapes depicting views in mountainous regions such as the Alps and the Black Forest, Germany. Little is known about his life but it’s evident from the level of refinement in his work that he had Academy training.


Born in Arnham, The Netherlands to Jacob Isaack Nijhoff and Charlotte Susanne Wilhelmina Nijhoff (nee Scheidt).
