D’Argence, Eugène (1853-1920)

Eugène D’Argence trained under Pierre François Eugène Giraud and Charles Busson and he’s predominantly known as a landscape painter. His landscapes often depict views of Corsica, Algeria, Paris and its surroundings.

He exhibited widely during his lifetime including at Salon des Indépendants between 1890 and 1893 and at the Salon National between 1899 and 1913. He’s also represented at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
