Giorgio Aicardi’s talent was spotted at a young age and he soon found himself enrolled to study at the Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti in Genoa. During his time there, he was taught by the highly accomplished Neapolitan painter, Giuseppe Pennasilico, who encouraged him to paint ‘en plein air’.
