Sidney Byers, Portrait Of A Standing Nude

Sidney Byers, Portrait Of A Standing Nude

A fine early 20th-century portrait of a standing nude by British painter, Sidney Byers. It feels a little more sensual than you tend to find with many studio nudes so perhaps he knew the model.

Byers was represented at the Royal Academy in the Summer of 1943 and 1944.

The portrait is housed within a good maple frame.
