Portrait Of Carl Gustaf Dahlgren

A fine early 19th-century portrait of Carl Gustaf Dahlgren of Ljungby, Sweden (b. 1794). He’s wearing a fancy white cravat under a dark coat according to the fashion of the 1820s. He’s clearly a man of means.

The portrait is housed within an appropriate frame from the late-19th-century.
