An attractive early 20th-century English rural scene with a family and cottage. In the foreground, a mother is holding a baby while a young child collects brushwood. While in a cottage doorway, an older lady looks on - perhaps it’s the grandmother.

It’s a charming old scene and we particularly love how the country track is lit as it bends away to the right.
