A peaceful early 20th-century oil painting depicting a pastoral scene with cows and figures. On the reverse, the artist, Cor De Boer (1878-1961) has inscribed ‘Hommage à Corot’, which is a reference to French landscape painter, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot (1796-1875).

The painting is held within a later frame and signed in the lower right.
