An interesting mid-20th-century oil on board depicting a British racing car in full flow. The driver peers out of the window as he takes a corner at high speed.
It would be wonderful to track down some more information about this vehicle, so do let us know if you can share any of your car nerd knowledge. It’s been suggested that it could be a Riley.
The painting is housed within what appears to be its original frame and signed/dated in the lower left.
