Victor Moody was born in London but spent much of his life in the Cotswolds and Malvern. He studied at the Royal College of Art under William Rothenstein and he was a member of the Cheltenham Group of Artists. Between 1935 and 1962, he was the Headmaster of Malvern School of Art.
