Christian Landenberger was primarily known for his impressionistic portraits, landscapes and scenes. As one of the forefathers of German plein air painting, he became an important figure in the evolution of German art.
He’s represented in several museums including the Kunstmuseum in Albstadt, which holds over 300 of his works.
