Ole Juul was an accomplished Norwegian painter of landscapes. He studied under Anders Askevold in Bergen and Eugène Dücker in Düsseldorf, Germany, and examples of his works are held in the National Museum in Oslo.

Born in Dypfjorden, Lofoten, Norway, to Knud Lorentz Juul, a farmer, pilot and fisherman, and Gjertrud Bolette Juul (nee Dreyer). The eminent landscape painter, Adelsteen Normann (1848-1918), was his cousin.

Studied under Anders Askevold in Bergen. Also trained as a photographer.

Returned to Norway and lived in Elverum.
