Heinrich-Hansen, Adolf (1859-1925)

Adolf Heinrich-Hansen was a Danish artist predominantly known for his exquisite portrayals of decorative interiors. Later in his career, he also became a proficient animal painter. He trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and his works are held in numerous public collections including the Aarhus Kunstmuseum.

Born in Copenhagen to Heinrich Hansen, an architectural painter, and Margrethe Elisabeth Burmeister.

Studied at CF Andersen's sketching school.

Enrolled at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen.

Debuted at the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition, Copenhagen. He continued to exhibit until 1909.
