A highly detailed work by well-listed British artist, John Wallace Tucker (1808 - 1869). This picturesque rural scene features the River Dart as it winds its way through Totnes in Devon. Three figures unload a vessel into a nearby cottage as several small boats sail past.

A charming and accomplished piece depicting one of the most attractive rivers in England. At auction, similar size works have sold for between £200 and £600. Auctioneers include Christie's, Sotherby's and Bonhams.
