Portrait Of An Old Bearded Gentleman
A fine late 19th-century full-length portrait of a bearded gentleman with an open book. There are so many exquisite little details in this portrait - from the individual hairs in the gentleman’s beard, through to the way his fingertips are gently resting on the pages. It's clearly painted by a trained and very skilful hand.
The painting is housed within, what appears to be, its original wooden and stucco swept frame.
