Le Chat Et La Mouche [Albert Mazon]
A curious cat is poised patiently on a wooden chair as it waits for the right moment to pounce on a resting fly. A tobacco pipe stretches across the table - close to a burnt match.
Albert Mazon was an exhibited artist and teacher who settled in Nice in 1946. He founded the Mediterranean Academy of Arts and Humanities and enjoyed a wide social circle of friends that included visiting students and other artists.
