RESERVED - Debonaire
A fine continental portrait of a dashing young gentleman that’s dressed to impress. With his bow tie sitting neatly underneath a grandad collar, he’s suitably attired for the evening ahead.
It’s interesting to note that the left-hand side of the subject’s face is considerably less well lit than the right. This could be a deliberate move by the artist to provide an indication that the gentleman has two sides to his character. Or perhaps it’s just the lighting, we shall never know.
An excellent lifelike portrait by a trained hand. Signed at the bottom under the frame.
