Following his studies in Florence and Edinburgh, British artist, Chris Polunin, now travels the globe searching for the unrefined beauty that often exists within the natural world.

He tends to paint ‘en plein air’ as this enables him to capture an atmosphere as well as an accurate representation. He believes that many of us overlook the beauty that exists within nature due to our disconnected times.

In 2019, he won the prestigious Stanley Quek Prize and in 2017/2018 he was a finalist in the Contemporary Young Artist Award.

He exhibits widely throughout Europe and his work is held in private collections and museums.
