RESERVED - Anneliese Horn-Holl, Portrait Of A Man In A Trench Coat

DESCRIPTION

A characterful vintage portrait of a young man holding a trench-coat over his shoulders while standing before a densely wooded area.

The painting has a film-esque quality to it and it’s easy to imagine that the young gentleman is acting in a role as a private investigator. We’ve called him Young Sherlock here but perhaps you have your own thoughts on his persona?

The artist, Anneliese Horn-Holl, painted with an illustrative style and often depicted intriguing figures within natural environments.
