Champollion, Eugène André (1848-1901)

Eugène-André Champollion was a French etcher that’s considered to be an important contributor to the development of 19th-century print-making. Born in Hautes-Alpes, he soon moved to Paris where he studied under Léon Gaucherel (1816-1886) and Edmond Hédouin (1820-1889).
